We love soldering, drinking beer, hacking stuff together with Arduino's, sensors and shields, and programming.

Because we're old now some of us have ancient l33t skills like: Z80 assembly, 6502 assembly, C, Perl, Tcl/Tk, ASF+SDF, Prolog.

The young and dynamic among us are trying to learn new things like: Mining bitcoins (duh!), tinkering with raspberry pi, coding in VHDL or Verilog, playing with docker containers.

And the very very young (next generation) only do stuff like: Watching Nickelodeon, watching Youtube-vlogs (vlogs about shoes, nail polish, hair, boys etc), sleep, play with Lego Friends (TM), make selfies, chat, shop. The usual girl-nerds do.

We held our first gathering in Amsterdam in 1995 and then started gathering every 1st friday of the month until everybody moved elsewhere or started a family and had kids. We've been reuniting at HAL2001, WTH2005, HAR2009, OMH2013 and now SHA2017.

== Who we are ==
Well that remains a bit of a mystery. Some of us studied together at the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Science (FNWI and WINS). Some of us were friends of friends or colleagues of friends. Some of us just showed up one day.

We held our first gathering in Amsterdam in 1995 and then started gathering every 1st friday of the month until everybody moved elsewhere or started a family and had kids. We've been reuniting at HAL2001, WTH2005, HAR2009, OMH2013 and now SHA2017.

Well that remains a bit of a mystery. Some of us studied together at the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Science (FNWI and WINS). Some of us were friends of friends or colleagues of friends. Some of us just showed up one day.

Tesselation 1.x has been out there for quite a while now. On SHA2017 [[User:chaosdav|ChaosDav]] from HackLab will be releasing Tesselation 2.0, a major overhaul of the tesslation codebase, at the [[Village:Gadgetfriday|GadgetFriday]] village.
