Mathijs a.k.a. User:DokterBob, initiated the Decentralized Society Research Project about 2 years ago (and still feels justly awkward describing himself in the third person). Mathijs has been exploring and researching initiatives and practises for more sustainable living throughout Europe. He's recently settled in Northern Portugal where he hopes to gather a group of people to buy neighbouring property in facilitate local cooperation in a strive for a graceful and independent lifestyle.
