This is a short talk about a cheap electronic lock, picking electronic locks, and making a better one. Usually my talks about locks are longer, but this particular lock (an electronic door lock cylinder that you can buy from a large German mail order company at around 50 EUR) is ideally suited for a lightning talk. You will learn some very basic concepts of electronic lock design and penetration. If you are hungry for more, visit us at Village:muCCC or later this year at LockCon
