This is a workshop designed to demystify the process of making a PCB from a schematic and take your fear out of it. We will start with a pre-prepared schematic and use Kicad to turn it into a PCB layout. We will then use the toner transfer method to manufacture a circuit board and a stencil you can use for reflow soldering. You can assemble the board later on during the SMD assembly workshops that take place during the rest of the event.

Description We're going to go from a schematic to a PCB layout, and then manufacture the PCB and a reflow soldering stencil to go with it. No prior knowledge needed. Please bring a laptop with Kicad 4.0.6 installed. Takes about 4 hours, cost is on a pay-what-you-want model. This is an experimental workshop I'm teaching for the first time, so your input is going to be fundamental to future editions. Join/help others in not being terrified anymore!
