Session:Hack in The Class: Arduino for kids
| Description | Subtitle: Arduino for kids, how to start playing with electronics Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested n creating interactive objects or environments. So also for kids! \o/ This workshop will give you an impression what Arduino is, what the hardware platform and extensions does, how you can work with the hardware and interface. Finally we will help all kidsstep by step how we made one (may-be more) of our projects like Blinky (our LED board), the Garduino (for Garden automation) or our Hackerspace automation system.
You can just drop by, max 15 kids (due to amount of hardware). Age: if you can read a bit English it’s probably fine, or bring your mom/dad/friend who can :-) Needed: A laptop would be nice with root or possible root exploits ;-) |
