Village Teardown

When do we need to leave the rented tents?

Please make sure they are clean and empty on Day6 (09.08.2017), 12:00

Where to put the chairs and tables?

People can put their rented things at the sanitation buildings as that is a central location and a good pickup spot. Logistics will take care of the rest. Chairs go in stacks of 15. Tables in stacks of 10.

If you spot an empty container-rig-thingy to put them in, feel free to use that.

How do I get my luggage to the parking lot?

There is a Luggage Shuttle operating between Stage Re and the Parking lot. Bring your luggage to Stage Re and wait for the Shuttle.

When are cars allowed on the terrain?

Villagers can enter the Terrain to load their stuff on Day5 after the closing talk. The Gate will close around sundown (roughly 22:00). Teardown continues on Day6 from 8:00 - 12:00. Times might change slightly depending on the number of volunteers helping.

What is the procedure to get a car on the terrain?

Similar to buildup we can't have to many cars on the terrain. We try to streamline the process as good as we can do to get everyone of the ground safely and fast.

The procedure is at follows:

  • Pack you stuff so its ready to be loaded
  • Put it close to the road, so loading into a vehicle can be really fast
  • Have someone else standing next to your luggage, make sure you can contact them easily and fast
  • Drive your car to the logistics-gate, get in queue
  • When you make your way to the front of the queue, one of our angels on the field will check if your luggage is ready
  • If everything is fine, you will get a temporary-entry-ticket
  • A Bike-Angle will guide you to the pickup location
  • Do not drive on the grass.
  • You will load as fast as possible, make sure to have plenty helping hands ready
  • Leave the terrain again together with the bike-angle, return the temporary-entry-ticket
  • Have a safe drive home. See you soon!

What if I need a special arrangement?

Contact Team:Villages (DECT: 'VILL'), and we can see what we can do for you. Most likely the answer will be 'stick to the plan'. We already have a lot to do.
